Pete Vanderpool inspires people of all ages with his signature mix of insight, wisdom, and story. He especially enjoys speaking to groups about the power of story for personal growth, and the transformative aspects of practical spirituality.
Pete and his team have created a workshop that guides people to discover personal meaning and direction in the stories of their lives. While he still provides live workshops upon request, Pete created an online version, On the Right Track: Connecting the Stories of Your Life, accessible to everyone.
Pete's book, Equipped to Bless: Finding Relevance in the Stories of Your Life, co-authored with Wendy C. Brown, was the inspiration for his On the Right Track workshop. Both the book and its companion workbook, are available in both hard copy and e-reader versions.

Pete honed his storytelling skills in his role of Santa. Children identify his natural white beard and cheery smile year-round, and he's spent 25 years bringing comfort and joy in costume during each Christmas season.Learn More
Pete Vanderpool's years of working with children as Santa led him and his wife, Joyce, to start The Santa Project, a non-profit focused on teaching children to be safe, and aware of their surroundings. Pete and Joyce went on to form The Creative Story Project, which helps people communicate and grow by creating and sharing stories. This non-profit has worked with school children, nursing home residents, and has even coordinated inter-generational projects.
Pete is an active member in his community. He is a member of the Bradley Sunrise Rotary Club and the Cleveland Storytellling Guild in Tennessee. Pete has been active with AMECO (Association of Missing and Exploited Children) and radKIDS (empowering children to live safely in today's world). Pete teaches Sunday school, and has served as a substitute high school teacher.
